Past Life Regression

Is Past-Life-Regression a form of Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is one of the many techniques used to regress one to his/ her past life. Past Life Regression conducted under hypnotic trance is a type of hypnotherapy.

Other techniques used for regression are:
Non-Hypnotic Techniques
Bridge techniques: Affect bridge technique; Somatic bridge technique; Linguistic bridge technique; Visual bridge technique
Spontaneous recall
Dreams
Meditation

The techniques used for Past-Life-Regression for a particular individual are those that are best suited to that individual.

How does Past Life Regression help me to overcome the problems being faced by me at present?

Most of the current life issues such as unexplained health problems, psychosomatic diseases, phobias, relationship issues, recurring negative patterns in life situations, lack of clarity about the purpose of your life, confusion about your future etc. have their root causes in past lives. Past-Life-Regression works on the principle of cause and effect and helps remove the effects by addressing the root causes. By going to a root cause and understanding how it has affected the present, profound natural healing takes place automatically. Past-Life-Regression works simultaneously on Body, Mind and Spirit and heals at all levels.

How does the information come?

Information may come as a movie or in flashes like power point slides or feelings or thoughts. If you are not ‘seeing’ anything, no need to get worried, just narrate whatever you are ‘experiencing’ at that moment. You may get a sense of something, just describe whatever pops into your head, the first thought. First thought is thrown up by the subconscious. You may also hear yourself saying, it’s just my imagination, I am making all this up. Yes, you are right, it is indeed your imagination. Using pictures and images is the only way your subconscious is able to communicate with you. You are not making it up. Just describe what you are experiencing. The story that is unfolding is being shown to you for a reason. You will be amazed at how the story relates directly to current life.

What if I don’t like what I am seeing?

If something traumatic or painful is uncovered we will ask you to view it as an observer without feeling the suffering. You are also in control and can come out of the trance state at will.

If the person regressed experiences something traumatic, painful or unpleasant; will it not affect the current life negatively?

"To re-live is to relieve". Once a traumatic or unpleasant event is relived during the regression, it results in greater understanding at deeper levels of the subconscious. In fact, it is memory of painful events that is buried deep inside our subconscious that is the cause of many unexplained problems faced in this lifetime. Therefore, once the buried traumatic memories are brought to the conscious awareness through regression, the problems start mitigating automatically and naturally.

What if I get stuck in past and cannot come back to normal waking consciousness?

You are not getting teleported physically to anywhere but are only accessing your unconscious memories while in trance state. Past life Regression is an altered state of consciousness similar to a dream state wherein memories that are inaccessible during conscious state of awareness are accessed. A person undergoing Past-Life-Regression always comes back to normal waking consciousness however deep the trance is.

If past-lives were real, would we not remember them automatically?

We do remember our past lives on many occasions. At times, these remembrances occur spontaneously. On many other occasions, certain external events or stimulus can act as a trigger and the memory of our past surfaces. This could happen for instance:
a)When you meet someone for the first time but you get the uncanny feeling that you know that person extremely well.
b) While visiting a foreign country for the first time and knowing where a building or road is.
c) Déjà vu: When you are in a situation and get a feeling that you have been in exactly the same situation in the past though you have no evidence of such a situation in this lifetime.
d) When you meet a person for the first time and have an immediate feeling of lack of trust for the person.
e) When you meet a person for the first time and you get the feeling of immense love for and emotional attachment to that person (this is commonly known as love at first sight).
f) When as child you used to have (you may still have them) memories of having lived in a different place in a different family and in different life circumstances. The narration of such experiences usually fell on deaf ears and you were gradually conditioned to believe that those past-life experiences and memories of those past-life experiences were not valid.
There are many other ways in which situations in this lifetime trigger our past-life memories. Most of us, however, are conditioned to ignore those subtle intuitive messages.

Is it possible to have more than one past life?

Yes, it is quite common for people to experience two or three lives during one session. Few have experienced as many as 9 lives during one session. As we move forward or backward in the life time that you are experiencing, you may jump to another life. Each life however has relevance to the questions asked, or the overall message the subconscious wants you to understand.

Will I be able to remember my experience after the session is over?

Yes. However, the clarity with which you remember may vary from person to person and session to session. Over a period of time the experience becomes a part of you and sometimes, more memories are triggered resulting in spontaneous recall of past lives.

How many sessions do I need to take?

Actual number of sessions required varies based on the complexity of the issues to be resolved. Initially we prefer to conduct a prep session first followed by main session about 10 days later. During this period, you will be required to practice audio assisted relaxation exercise, which helps to open you up and clear the blocks that might be preventing you from experiencing your past lives. Further sessions would depend upon the results achieved after the main session.

Is there any age limit for a person to undergo Past-Life-Regression?

There is no rigid age limit. But it is preferable to have young children accompanied by an adult.

I do not have any specific problem but am curious to know my past-lives. Is it ok to take a session?

Curiosity is as good a reason any other! However, in our experience, we have observed that many people who come to us thinking initially that have no issues actually realize that they do have significant issues to be resolved. Past-Life-Regression helps to resolve such issues and gain clarity about the purpose of your life.

My child is a spastic. How will I be able to find out the root cause through past life regression?

It is generally not possible to regress people suffering from cerebral palsy or any other condition in which the brain has been significantly damaged or the brain chemistry altered due to drugs or medications taken. However, it would be immensely beneficial if one or both of the parents undergo past-life-regression. This would provide a lot of clarity and understanding about why the child has chosen the disability in this life and also why, as parents, you have chosen to this particular life-situation.

How long does one session take?

All going well, actual PLR session takes around 2 to 3 hrs. With another hour or so for post session discussions and integration you need about 4 hrs of absolute free time. It would be better not to schedule any meetings or appointments on the day of session so as to be free from any anxiousness. This is the time you will be investing in your own self for your own benefit.

Can I have someone in the room with me?

We don’t mind and at the same do not recommend as a lot of personal information may emerge during the session which you may not want to share even with your close family and will thus block leading to incomplete experience.
